Uzbekistan-China Research Center Opens in Bukhara

Bukhara, The Gulf Observer: A meeting focused on the exchange of Uzbekistan-China projects took place as part of an agreement between the Institute of Food and Technology of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of China and the Bukhara Engineering-Technological Institute.

During the meeting, Sadoqat Siddiqova, Rector of the Bukhara Engineering-Technological Institute, provided an overview of the research laboratories established at the university and highlighted the ongoing activities within these facilities.

Professor Aimin Shi, head of the Chinese delegation, expressed gratitude to the rector and project participants for their efforts in organizing the meeting. Project leaders, Professors Xing Guo and Karim Gafurov, presented reports detailing the progress and achievements of the collaborative initiatives. The parties received positive feedback on their research efforts to date, and future plans for collaboration were outlined.

Following the meeting, the opening ceremony for the Uzbekistan-China Scientific Research Center was held. This center, dedicated to the processing of petroleum raw materials and the integrated use of by-products, will operate under the auspices of the Bukhara Engineering-Technological Institute, further enhancing research capabilities and fostering innovation in the region.
