Uzbekistan sends humanitarian aid to Afghanistan

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Today, Uzbekistan sent humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan affected by the 7 October earthquake.

The humanitarian cargo included food products: flour, wheat, oil, pasta, meat products, rice, sugar, tents and blankets, as well as first aid supplies.

According to the Ministry of Transport, humanitarian cargo was delivered to the city of Herat under the leadership of the Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatilla Irgashev.

The humanitarian aid was delivered on a Boeing 747 cargo plane operated by My Freighter.
