Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: On the eve of the 31st anniversary of independence, by decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the heads of a number of diplomatic missions were awarded the highest diplomatic ranks.

Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the People’s Republic of China Farhod Arziev and Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan Akmaljon Kuchkarov received the rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Austria Abat Fayzullaev, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Uzbekistan to UNESCO Umid Shodiev and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the UN Geneva Office Ulugbek Lapasov received the rank of Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the 2nd class.
