Xi Jinping Promotes He Hongjun to Rank of General

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: On Tuesday, Xi Jinping, Chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), formally presented a certificate of order to promote He Hongjun to the rank of general, the highest rank for officers in active service in China. He Hongjun serves as the Executive Deputy Director of the Political Work Department of the CMC.

The promotion ceremony, held in Beijing, featured Zhang Youxia, Vice Chairman of the CMC, announcing the order signed by Xi Jinping. He Weidong, also Vice Chairman of the CMC, presided over the ceremony.

Chairman Xi Jinping extended his heartfelt congratulations to General He Hongjun, marking a significant milestone in the officer’s distinguished military career.
