Azerbaijan's and Belarusian Foreign Ministers Discuss Strategic Partnership

New York, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, held a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart, Maxim Ryzhenkov, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The discussions focused on the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Belarus, NHC reports, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the current state of their strategic relations and highlighted the importance of continuing high-level meetings and political dialogue. This, they agreed, would help identify new areas of cooperation and enhance the quality of the partnership between the two nations.

The role of direct dialogue between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Belarus was emphasized as a key factor in strengthening bilateral ties. Both ministers underlined that such engagements are vital for exploring the future of their cooperative relations.

The discussions also touched upon opportunities for expanding economic collaboration, particularly in the areas of trade and investment. Both parties recognized the potential for deeper cooperation in these sectors and stressed the importance of capitalizing on these opportunities.

In addition to bilateral matters, the foreign ministers exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest, reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening the ties between Azerbaijan and Belarus.
