President Prabowo Inaugurates Red and White Cabinet Ministers for 2024-2029
Jakarta, The Gulf Observer: President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated 48 ministers of the Red and White Cabinet for the 2024-2029 period at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday. The inauguration followed the issuance of Presidential Decree Number 133/P of 2024, which outlined the formation and appointment of the cabinet members.
The ceremony commenced with the singing of the national anthem, “Indonesia Raya,” followed by the reading of the presidential decree. The list of the newly appointed ministers and officials was then announced, and they proceeded to take the oath of office under the guidance of President Prabowo.
During the oath-taking, President Prabowo led the ministers in pledging their commitment to uphold the 1945 Constitution and faithfully execute their duties for the benefit of the nation.
“I pledge that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution and carry out all applicable laws for the sake of my devotion and service to the nation and country,” said President Prabowo, as the ministers and officials followed suit.
In addition to the ministers, other key officials were inaugurated, including the Attorney General, Chief of the Presidential Staff, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Staff, Head of the Presidential Communication Office, Chief of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), and Chair of the National Economic Council. Each minister and official signed their letters of appointment before the president.
