Vietnam Airlines Wins Prestigious “2025 APEX Five Star Major Airline”

Hanoi, The Gulf Observer: Vietnam Airlines has been honored with the prestigious “2025 APEX Five Star Major Airline” award by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX), a global non-profit and one of the largest international airline associations.

The APEX Five Star Awards are unique in that they are based on unbiased, third-party passenger feedback, with ratings verified by an external auditing company. For the 2025 Awards, passengers evaluated nearly one million flights across more than 600 airlines, rating them on a five-star scale in five categories: seat comfort, in-flight services, food and beverages, entertainment systems, and Wi-Fi services.

Dang Anh Tuan, Executive Vice President of Vietnam Airlines, expressed pride in the airline’s achievement, noting that the “Five Star Major Airline” title reflects the company’s commitment to providing seamless and comfortable travel experiences.

“Vietnam Airlines has continuously worked to enhance and upgrade its services and products to ensure the best possible flight experience for our passengers,” said Tuan. “We are proud to operate one of the youngest and most modern fleets in Asia, featuring advanced aircraft such as the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Airbus A350, and Airbus A321neo.”

The airline is also focused on improving its airport facilities, increasing the use of sustainable aviation fuel, and collaborating with other global carriers to expand flight networks. Additionally, Vietnam Airlines highlights the nation’s rich cultural heritage through in-flight publications, video presentations, and meals that showcase the finest of Vietnamese cuisine.

This accolade underscores Vietnam Airlines’ ongoing commitment to service excellence and innovation, positioning it alongside the world’s top global airlines.

In addition to the APEX award, Vietnam Airlines has recently earned other prestigious recognitions, including “Asia’s Leading Airline – Economy Class,” “Asia’s Leading Cultural Airline,” and “Asia’s Leading Inflight Magazine 2023” at the World Travel Awards 2023. The airline was also ranked among the top 20 best airlines globally for 2023.
