Saida Mirziyoyeva Visits Palestinian Children Receiving Medical Care, Delivers President's New Year Greetings

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: On the eve of the New Year, Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan, visited Palestinian children who are currently undergoing medical treatment in Uzbekistan. During her visit, Mirziyoyeva conveyed warm greetings and good wishes from the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the children and their families.

“Despite all the difficulties, they have preserved the light in their souls and faith in miracles, which is truly admirable. I hope that attention and words of support will fill their hearts with hope for a better future. We wish peace and prosperity to them and the entire long-suffering Palestinian people,” Saida Mirziyoyeva stated.

This visit follows the commitment made by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit held on November 11-13, where he expressed Uzbekistan’s readiness to provide free treatment to Palestinian women and children affected by the ongoing conflict. As part of this initiative, 100 wounded Palestinian women and children, along with their accompanying family members, were evacuated to Uzbekistan on December 26.

The evacuees are receiving the necessary medical care at rehabilitation centers and hospitals across Uzbekistan. The Government of Uzbekistan is fully covering all expenses related to their treatment, accommodation, food, education, and other essential needs, demonstrating the nation’s strong humanitarian commitment to supporting those in need.
