Eurovia— Your Erasmus+ & Horizon Europe Partner in Belgium

Eurovia

Brussels-based, European Parliament–accredited non-profit partnering with institutions, universities, and industry across the EU.

Mandate & Standing

Eurovia operates at the intersection of innovation, collaboration, and integration. Accredited by the European Parliament, the organisation maintains a visible presence in Brussels’ institutional ecosystem, engaging with the European Parliament and the European Commission on programmes that advance a Union that is stronger, greener, safer, smarter, and more prosperous.

Supported by a broad, high-level network—ministries, Members of the European Parliament, public administrations, prime ministers’ offices, private enterprises, non-profits, and European Commissioners—Eurovia converts policy objectives into practical, measurable projects.

Leadership & Team

Founded by Oguzhan Ari ,who graduated from the top University og Belgium, KU Leuven with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a minor in european affairs, Eurovia reflects a leadership style that connects policy with delivery. During his academic years at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, he established and led an international student association that supported newcomers’ academic, cultural, and social integration. In his current role as a lobbyist at the European Parliament, Ari advances policy proposals that strengthen inclusion and resilience across the continent.

Marking with Ari’s words’ “The question is not who you are, but who your team is,” Eurovia has assembled a capacity-driven, multidisciplinary team—EU officers, policy advisers, lawyers, and engineers—drawn from Belgian, German, Italian, Romanian, Dutch, and French backgrounds. This pan-European composition mirrors the Union’s unity in diversity.

Europe Day: Diplomacy in Action

Eurovia’s commitment is evidenced through tangible engagement. For Europe Day, the organisation co-hosted a conference and reception at the Permanent Representation to the European Union, in partnership with KU Leuven and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ambassadors, senior representatives from the European Parliament, NATO officials, local authorities, media leaders, and cultural institutions attended.

In line with Eurovia’s mission to promote integration and education, Erasmus+ participants—Samy Addahri, Alexandru Niculescu, Beatriz Santos Mayo, and Thomas Germenot—shared first-hand reflections on cross-cultural learning and academic growth. Keynotes, interactive exchanges, and high-level networking underscored Eurovia’s role as a bridge-builder and convenor.

Flagship Innovation & Education Projects

Eurovia’s portfolio spans education, technology, integration, defence, agriculture, and mechanics. A highlight is the Aircraft Simulation Center, among Europe’s largest interactive aerospace hubs, featuring flight simulation academy and immersive learning modules that inspire the next generation of European engineers and scientists.

Together with inCursor Technology, Eurovia co-developed TARBOT, an AI-powered autonomous agricultural robot that detects disease and treats only affected plants—reducing chemical use and water waste and aligning with European Green Deal objectives. The project illustrates Eurovia’s ability to translate cutting-edge research into practical implementation.

Erasmus+ Coordination & Policy Exposure

Beyond technology, Eurovia delivers end-to-end Erasmus+ mobility: project design, logistics, internship placements, and cultural programmes. A recent collaboration with a National Agency brought learners to Belgium for hands-on training in renewable energy, complemented by curated visits to Brussels, Bruges, and Ghent. To connect education with institutions, Eurovia organised an official European Parliament tour—offering participants a close view of how the Union functions and encouraging civic engagement.

Eurovia also cooperates with the Ministry of Culture to elevate pressing issues, fund integration initiatives between national and international students, and link experienced professionals with secondary and university students to map viable career pathways.

From Partner to Coordinator: EU Programmes We Serve

Building on years of collaboration, Eurovia now acts as full partner or coordinator across major EU funding programmes:
Horizon Europe – Research & Innovation • Erasmus+ – Education, Youth & Sport • Creative Europe – Culture & Media • LIFE Programme – Environment & Climate Action • AMIF – Asylum, Migration & Integration.

Guide to Funding:Guide to EU Funds 2025

Eurovia does more than implement projects. With the handbook Guide to EU Funds 2025—available online and in local outlets—the organisation demystifies EU funding and helps municipalities, NGOs, and businesses craft competitive proposals. The guide was prepared with EU project experts, official evaluators, and coordinators from Horizon Europe and Erasmus+, offering a practical roadmap from opportunity scanning to compliant delivery.
