Kazakh and Moldovan Foreign Ministers Hold Telephone Conversation on Bilateral Cooperation

Astana, The Gulf Observer: At the initiative of the Moldovan side, a telephone conversation was held between Yermek Kosherbayev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Mihai Popșoi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova.

During the call, Minister Popșoi warmly congratulated his Kazakh counterpart on his appointment and wished him success in his new role. In response, Minister Kosherbayev expressed gratitude for the congratulations and reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to further deepening the friendly relations between Astana and Chişinău.

The two ministers discussed the current state and future prospects of Kazakh-Moldovan cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats, as well as the implementation of agreements reached at the highest and high levels. Both sides confirmed their mutual readiness to maintain close interaction between their foreign ministries to strengthen the bilateral partnership.

Earlier, in early July, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Popșoi in Astana, underscoring the continued commitment of both nations to enhance cooperation across multiple sectors.
