Azerbaijani PM, Jordanian Minister Discuss Expansion of Bilateral Cooperation in Baku

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov on Thursday met with Jordan’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Yarub Qudah, who also serves as Co-Chair of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, both sides noted that the development of interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Jordan is firmly grounded in the principles of friendship and cooperation. They highlighted that the sincere and trust-based relationship between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan plays a decisive role in strengthening bilateral ties.

The discussions also covered prospects for further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation across several areas, including trade and economic relations, investment, humanitarian collaboration, and other sectors of shared interest.

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Finance, Sahil Babayev, also attended the meeting.
