Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Holds Bilateral Talks with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi held a series of high-level meetings with regional counterparts on the sidelines of the High-Level International Forum on Peace and Trust in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, which saw participation from more than sixty countries and international organisations.

During the forum, Sayyid Badr met with Mohammad Ishaq, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, to discuss bilateral relations and avenues for enhanced cooperation.

He also held discussions with Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, reviewing areas of mutual cooperation and exchanging views on regional developments. In addition, the Omani Foreign Minister met with Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties and consulting on key regional issues.

As part of Oman’s engagement at the forum, Sayyid Badr also met with Rashid Meredow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. He expressed appreciation for the warm welcome and the meticulous organisation of the international gathering. The Minister underscored the importance of ongoing political consultations and the continuation of efforts to conclude agreements and memoranda of understanding to expand opportunities for cooperation and partnership between Oman and its friendly nations.

These meetings highlight Oman’s proactive diplomacy and commitment to fostering regional peace, stability, and enhanced multilateral collaboration.
