Azerbaijani Entrepreneur and Business Leader Visits IDI, Islamabad

Islamabad, Staff Report: On 15th January 2026, Mr. Babak Huseynli, Strategic Partner for Pakistan–Azerbaijan Trade, Construction, Technology, and Industrial Cooperation, visited the International Dispute Resolution Institute (IDI) in Islamabad. During his visit, he met with Advocate Adil Aziz Qazi, Co-Founder of International Dispute Resolution Institute (IDI) and former Vice Chairman of the Islamabad Bar Council, Barrister Zopash Khan, Co-Founder of the Pakistan Chapter of International Dispute Resolution Institute (IDI), and Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Member of the Advisory Board of International Dispute Resolution Institute (IDI).

During the meeting, Mr. Huseynli was given a comprehensive briefing on the role and initiatives of the International Dispute Resolution Institute (IDI), a premier institution dedicated to promoting mediation, arbitration, and negotiation as effective and peaceful methods for resolving disputes in Pakistan and beyond. The discussions focused on enhancing collaboration between Pakistan and Azerbaijan in trade, construction, technology, and industrial sectors.

The meeting also explored opportunities for B2B collaboration with Azerbaijan, highlighting IDI’s role in facilitating cross-border partnerships, strengthening dispute resolution mechanisms, and promoting a culture of constructive dialogue for sustainable economic and industrial cooperation. The session emphasized the importance of leveraging institutional expertise and international best practices to support long-term bilateral economic growth and collaboration.
