Ethiopian Ambassador in Pakistan Holds Courtesy Meetings with Kenyan and Rwandan Envoys to Discuss Regional Cooperation

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: H.E. Dr. Oumer Hussein Oba, Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, has paid courtesy calls on his counterparts from the Republic of Kenya and the Republic of Rwanda in Islamabad, focusing on the promotion of bilateral cooperation and regional development.

The meeting with H.E. Lt Gen (Retd) Peter Mbogo Njiru, High Commissioner of Kenya to Pakistan, was held at the Kenyan High Commission in Islamabad. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and discussed avenues for strengthening bilateral relations, as well as enhancing regional cooperation between the two countries.

In a separate engagement, Ambassador Dr. Oumer Hussein Oba met with H.E. Harerimana Fatou, High Commissioner of Rwanda to Pakistan. The discussions centred on matters of regional importance, with both sides exploring various ways to further deepen regional ties and cooperation.

During the meetings, Ambassador Dr. Oumer briefed his counterparts on key initiatives undertaken by the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia aimed at strengthening regional integration, in line with the principles and spirit of pan-Africanism.
