President Emomali Rahmon Approves Official Emblem for 35th Independence Anniversary

Dushanbe, The Gulf Observer: The President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, has approved the official emblem commemorating the 35th anniversary of the country’s independence, according to a statement released by the Tajik president’s press service.

The newly approved emblem features a circular design with gold detailing. It is encircled by inscriptions in both Tajik and English reading “State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan,” along with the years 1991–2026.

At the center of the emblem is the “Istiqlol” Complex, symbolizing the revival of national statehood, freedom, and the independence of Tajikistan. A sunlit background represents peace and the nation’s aspiration for a prosperous future.

Visual elements depicting mountains, glaciers, water resources, and green pastures highlight the country’s natural wealth and reflect the president’s international initiatives on water and climate issues. Meanwhile, images of roads, tunnels, and hydroelectric stations illustrate the achievements of independence and the strategic directions of Tajikistan’s national development.

The press service confirmed that the emblem has been authorized for official use by government institutions and the media.
