Azerbaijan Holds Official Welcome Ceremony for U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance in Baku

Baku, The Gulf Observer: An official welcome ceremony was held on Monday in Baku in honor of James David Vance, Vice President of the United States, marking the commencement of his official visit to Azerbaijan.
A guard of honor was lined up for the U.S. Vice President at the ceremonial square, which was adorned with the national flags of the United States of America and the Republic of Azerbaijan. Ilham Aliyev formally welcomed Vice President Vance upon his arrival.
The chief of the guard of honor reported to the U.S. Vice President, following which the national anthems of both countries were played. Members of the Azerbaijani delegation were then introduced to Vice President Vance, while the U.S. delegation was presented to President Aliyev.
Subsequently, the guard of honor marched past the two leaders to the accompaniment of a military march. President Aliyev and Vice President Vance later posed together for official photographs, concluding the ceremonial proceedings.
The visit underscores the importance attached by both sides to strengthening bilateral relations and advancing cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States.
