UAE President and Bahrain Crown Prince Exchange Ramadan Greetings, Review Expanding Ties

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received His Royal Highness Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, the two leaders exchanged cordial greetings and congratulations ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, expressing their hopes that it would bring blessings, prosperity, and continued well-being to the two countries and their peoples.

The Crown Prince conveyed to the UAE President the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, along with his wishes for sustained progress and prosperity for the UAE and its people. In turn, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed asked the Crown Prince to convey his greetings to King Hamad bin Isa and his wishes for further advancement and growth for Bahrain and its citizens.

The discussions underscored the deep-rooted historical ties between the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as the shared commitment of both leaderships to further strengthen bilateral relations in support of mutual interests and for the benefit of their peoples.

Both sides highlighted the steady development of UAE–Bahrain relations and reaffirmed their determination to enhance cooperation, particularly in areas aligned with the two countries’ development priorities and future aspirations.

The leaders also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by several senior UAE officials, including His Highness Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; His Highness Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of Zayed for Good Foundation; His Highness Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence; along with several sheikhs and senior officials.

The accompanying Bahraini delegation included Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister; General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior; His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court; Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; as well as a number of ministers and senior officials.

Earlier, the Crown Prince of Bahrain arrived in the UAE and was received at the Presidential Flight in Abu Dhabi by Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan and a number of ministers and senior officials.
