Ankara Illuminates Republic Tower in Azerbaijani Colors to Commemorate Genocide Victims

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: The Republic Tower was illuminated in the colors of the Azerbaijani national flag on March 31 in a solemn tribute to the martyrs of the Day of the Genocide of Azerbaijanis.

The initiative was carried out by the leadership of Keçiören Municipality as a gesture of solidarity with Azerbaijan, commemorating the victims of the atrocities committed by Armenian-Dashnak armed groups during March–April 1918.

The symbolic illumination served as a powerful expression of братherhood and shared historical remembrance between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, reflecting the close ties between the two nations.

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Türkiye conveyed its sincere appreciation to Keçiören Municipality for organizing the meaningful tribute, highlighting it as a testament to enduring friendship and mutual support.
