UAE President Commends Contributors Supporting Ma’an Social Initiatives
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received contributors supporting initiatives of the Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an, the Abu Dhabi Government’s official platform for receiving social contributions.
During the meeting, His Highness praised the contributors for their role in promoting the values of giving and social responsibility, while strengthening the culture of solidarity and social cohesion deeply rooted in UAE society.
Sheikh Mohamed also commended the Authority’s efforts to create a lasting and positive impact across the community, reflecting the UAE’s national priority of empowering society and enhancing social development.
The delegation included contributors who supported community initiatives during 2024 and 2025 through financial and in-kind donations, as well as individuals providing regular support to promote sustainable social impact. Representatives of social purpose companies and public benefit organisations were also present at the meeting.
Working in partnership with public, private and civil society sectors, the Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an channels financial, in-kind and voluntary contributions towards initiatives and programmes addressing social priorities identified by the Department of Community Development Abu Dhabi.
The authority also provides integrated solutions aimed at improving quality of life and advancing community wellbeing across the emirate.
