Azerbaijani Diaspora Youth to Represent Country at Global Youth Assembly in Geneva

Baku, The Gulf Observer: The Azerbaijani Diaspora Youth (ADY) organization is set to represent Azerbaijan at the Youth Assembly 2026, scheduled to take place in Geneva, Switzerland, from August 12 to 14.

A delegation comprising five young members of the ADY will participate in the international gathering, joining hundreds of youth leaders from around the world to discuss global challenges and sustainable development.

The Assembly, which opens on August 12, marking International Youth Day, is expected to bring together more than 500 young leaders from over 100 countries, providing a global platform for dialogue, collaboration, and leadership development.

The event aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and best practices among participants while strengthening international cooperation and fostering partnerships in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through interactive discussions, networking opportunities, and collaborative initiatives, the Youth Assembly will encourage innovative solutions to pressing global issues and empower young leaders to play an active role in advancing sustainable development.

The participation of the Azerbaijani Diaspora Youth underscores Azerbaijan’s commitment to promoting youth engagement in international affairs and enhancing the contribution of its young leaders to global dialogue and cooperation.
