President Emomali Rahmon Inaugurates New Private School for 800 Students in Dushanbe

Dushanbe, The Gulf Observer: President of Tajikistan and Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, together with Chairman of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of Tajikistan and Mayor of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali, inaugurated a new building of the Imkon private general secondary educational institution on Ahrori Street in Dushanbe.

The newly constructed educational facility has a capacity of 800 students and was built by entrepreneurs Valijon, Piran and Payrav Akhmedov to provide modern and appropriate conditions for education and upbringing.

During a tour of the facility, President Rahmon was informed that particular attention had been paid to the quality of construction and the use of locally produced materials meeting modern standards.

The modern school was constructed in accordance with contemporary urban planning requirements. During the construction phase, 80 local residents were provided with temporary employment.

The institution has 59 classrooms and a range of auxiliary facilities. Appropriate material and technical resources have been provided for teaching various subjects, including information technology, vocational skills, biology, physics, fine arts and foreign languages. Each specialized classroom has been equipped in accordance with the nature of the subject and the requirements of the educational curriculum.

The school currently employs 34 teachers, 90 percent of whom are women. Instruction is primarily conducted in Tajik, Russian and English, while Chinese language instruction is also planned to be introduced in the future. The multilingual approach is intended to enable students to acquire modern knowledge while strengthening their foreign-language communication skills.

The institution also includes a 290-seat cafeteria, a sports hall, two separate swimming pools for boys and girls, a 180-seat assembly hall, a winter garden and a shooting hall designed for initial military training classes.

The sports hall is equipped with the necessary facilities for various sporting activities, providing students with suitable conditions for physical education and the development of their athletic abilities.

The swimming pools have been constructed in accordance with modern requirements and are separately designated for boys and girls. They provide appropriate conditions for learning swimming, improving physical fitness and promoting students’ health.

The spacious assembly hall, with a capacity of 180 people, is intended for cultural and educational events, academic activities and various gatherings. The shooting hall is also equipped with the necessary facilities for conducting initial military training.

President Rahmon emphasized that creating modern conditions for education and upbringing and improving the quality of education are among the key priorities of the state’s social policy.

Teachers were instructed to make effective use of the facilities and opportunities provided, improve the level and quality of education, and contribute to the upbringing of an educated, patriotic and well-rounded younger generation.
