Tajikistan Begins Construction of Multi-Purpose Modern Architectural and Services Complex in Dushanbe

Dushanbe, The Gulf Observer: President of Tajikistan and Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, together with Chairman of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly and Mayor of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali, laid the foundation stone on Thursday for the construction of a major multifunctional architectural and service complex in the capital’s Shohmansur district.
The ambitious architectural complex will comprise 52 facilities, including five high-rise towers. The tallest structure will be the 77-storey Dushanbe Tower, which is planned to reach a height of 340 meters. Upon completion, the complex is expected to become a distinctive landmark in the region, featuring some of the largest towers and the biggest shopping mall in the area.
The development will include a hotel, cafés, restaurants, commercial and service outlets, office spaces, a 1,000-seat concert hall, cinema facilities, a shopping and entertainment center, children’s recreational areas, venues for various public events, a sports hall, a landscaped park and a lake.
The exterior design of the buildings will be developed in line with international brand standards. The complex is also expected to host international brands, offering residents and visitors of Dushanbe access to branded products as well as internationally recognized food and service options.
As part of the modern development, 42 residential buildings containing 6,160 apartments will be constructed. The project will also include a secondary school designed to accommodate 1,200 students and a kindergarten for 500 children.
Once fully implemented, the project will transform a 29-hectare area of Dushanbe into a modern and attractive urban community. The development will have a total floor area of approximately 270,000 square meters and is expected to create more than 4,300 new jobs.
More than 2,000 local construction workers will be employed during the implementation of the large-scale project, which is scheduled to be completed within five years.
The development is projected to become the tallest structure of its kind in the region and will bring together a broad range of business, commercial, service and recreational functions. Particular emphasis will be placed on digital and technology-driven management systems, while modern facilities will provide favorable conditions for business, leisure, residential living and tourism.
The complex is expected to showcase new economic and commercial opportunities while reflecting modern approaches to urban planning, city management and public services.
During his review of the project, President Emomali Rahmon instructed relevant officials, entrepreneurs and architects to ensure high-quality construction and give priority to modern architectural and urban-planning standards.
The multifunctional complex is being developed by TAS INTERNATIONAL GROUP, a limited liability company, with the aim of establishing a model modern social and service infrastructure.
The project forms part of Dushanbe’s broader urban development strategy and the implementation of the capital’s master plan. Its objectives include creating modern conditions for work and services, attracting investment and tourists, expanding opportunities for residents and establishing a favorable environment for business, living, recreation and entertainment.
The timely implementation of the instructions and directives of President Emomali Rahmon by Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali, combined with the country’s longstanding tradition of construction and development and modern technological and architectural practices, has contributed in recent years to Dushanbe’s emergence as a model of urban development and municipal planning in the region.
