Oman, Pakistan Armies Hold Joint “Mountain Lynx / 2” Military Exercise
Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Units from the Southern Oman Regiment of the Royal Army of Oman are participating in the joint military exercise “Mountain Lynx / 2” alongside units of the Pakistan Army in Pakistan.
The exercise, which will continue until October 1, is being conducted as part of the Royal Army of Oman’s annual training plans and programmes.
According to the Omani side, the exercise aims to maintain and enhance the readiness and operational efficiency of participating personnel, while providing an opportunity for the participating forces to exchange military expertise and experience.
The joint training reflects ongoing military cooperation between Oman and Pakistan and provides personnel from both sides with an opportunity to strengthen professional coordination through combined exercises.
