VP of UAE congratulates Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his election victory
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Issues of further developing full-scale cooperation and implementation of large investment projects with the participation of leading Emirati companies were discussed during a telephone conversation between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan.
Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan cordially congratulated the Leader of Uzbekistan on his convincing victory in the election, sincerely wishing well-being and prosperity to the people of Uzbekistan.
He also conveyed congratulations and best wishes on behalf of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed Al Nahyan.
Current issues on the bilateral agenda were considered. The high growth dynamics in trade turnover and the increase in joint ventures and flights between the two countries were noted with satisfaction.
The portfolio of investment projects exceeds $4 billion and covers areas such as green energy, agriculture, transport and logistics, tourism infrastructure, and other industries.
The UAE side also provides technical assistance in implementing socially significant programs in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The importance of continuing an active dialogue at the highest level, promoting major trade, economic, investment, financial, and humanitarian cooperation projects, was emphasized during the conversation.
