Baku hosts roundtable on “Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan: New horizons of cooperation”
Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan’s Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) and Uzbekistan’s International Institute for Central Asian Studies have jointly organized a roundtable themed “Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan: New horizons of cooperation” in Baku.
The roundtable will discuss the current state of cooperation between the two countries, directions of bilateral and multilateral cooperation as well as the development of specific proposals and initiatives for their implementation.
The event, held with the participation of Azerbaijani and Uzbek officials and experts, will see reports on “Role of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the development of Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan relations”.
The participants will also hold discussions on “Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan relations: modern opportunities and prospects” and “Central Asia and Azerbaijan: mutual relations for stability and sustainable development”.
The event will culminate in the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Azerbaijan’s Center of Analysis of International Relations and Uzbekistan’s International Institute for Central Asian Studies.
