Termez will host International Scientific Conference
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: On 22-23 November, 2023, Termez will host the International Scientific Conference “Imam Bukhari, Dorimi and Termizi: School of Muhaddith of Mawarannahr”.
The event will enhance cooperation with member states of the Organization of Turkic States in tourism. It will become essential in the joint widespread promotion of the common Turkic cultural heritage. This conference will also contribute to diversifying tourism products and services of different segments of the tourism market, increasing their competitiveness and creating a favorable domestic and international atmosphere for pilgrimage tourism.
The event will be held at the Imam Termizi International Research Center. It will be attended by 50 famous ulema from near and far abroad, leading scientists, and representatives of prestigious universities and research centers.
“Representatives of almost ten countries, including Türkiye, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, expressed their desire to take part in the international conference”, said Muzaffar Joniyev, Director of the International Research Center of Imam Termizi. “Participants will receive a lot of interesting information about the school of Muhaddith of Mawarannahr, Imam Bukhari, Dorimi, and Termizi. The conference will also serve as a platform for meeting in our country, which has long been a center of science, representatives of fraternal nations and nationalities, and will help strengthen the younger generation’s love for history and national cultural heritage”.
At the two-day conference sessions, famous ulema of the Islamic world and scientists will make interesting thematic reports. Guests will visit the complexes of Hakim at-Termizi, Imam Abu Iso at-Termizi, and Sulton Saodat and get acquainted with the sights of the ancient region.
