UAE and Malta Launch Malta Executive Leadership Programme

Dubai, The Gulf Observer: The governments of the UAE and the Republic of Malta have jointly unveiled the Malta Executive Leadership Programme, drawing inspiration from the UAE’s proven model of government leadership.
This announcement materialized during a significant visit by a delegation from the Government Experience Exchange Office (GEEO) at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs to Valletta, the capital of Malta. This visit is a pivotal step in fortifying bilateral cooperation between the two nations, specifically in the realm of government modernization.
The delegation, led by Abdulla Nasser Lootah, Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange, engaged in a series of meetings with senior officials in the Maltese government. These discussions encompassed a comprehensive review of past achievements in bilateral cooperation and updates on collaborative endeavors across various sectors.
Future-oriented initiatives and projects focused on knowledge exchange were key topics, reflecting the commitment of both governments to fostering mutual growth. The UAE delegation, including members of the GEEO team, met with Dr. Ian Borg, Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade, and Keith Azzopardi Tanti, Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Research, and Innovation. Additionally, they engaged in fruitful discussions with various officials in the Maltese government and participated in knowledge-sharing sessions at the University of Malta.
Keith Azzopardi Tanti commended the productive collaboration between Malta and the UAE, emphasizing the importance of partnerships in enhancing the capacities of government employees. He highlighted the role of the Malta Executive Leadership Programme in providing continuous education and professional development, ensuring government employees have the tools to contribute effectively to citizen services.
Abdulla Lootah emphasized that the launch of the Executive Leadership Programme in Malta signifies the shared commitment to building government capacities and empowering them with future tools through the exchange of experiences and knowledge.
