Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crowns Winner of UAE President’s Cup
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan presided over the crowning ceremony of the victorious horse in the main race of the UAE President’s Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses. The grand event, comprising seven exhilarating races, unfolded at the 8th Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club Racecourse Gala in the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.
The highlight of the evening was the crowning of the triumphant “RB Kingmaker” from the National Stables, under the expert supervision of Hilal Al Alawi and skillfully ridden by Richard Mullen. The duo secured victory in the seventh and final race, covering a challenging distance of 2200 meters, with a substantial prize purse of AED 4.5 million.
The glittering occasion was graced by the presence of prominent figures, including Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society; Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy; Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade; Mohammed Abdullah Al Junaibi, Chairman of Federal Protocol and Strategic Narrative Authority (FPSNA), and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club; and Ali Al Shaiba, Director General of Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club.
