Chinese Vice Premier Liu Guozhong’s Diplomatic Mission to Kazakhstan Announced

Astana, The Gulf Observer: Aibek Smadiyarov, spokesperson for the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, has announced that Liu Guozhong, Chinese Vice Premier of the State Council, is scheduled to embark on a visit to Kazakhstan from May 15 to May 17, as reported by media outlets.
During his stay in Astana, Vice Premier Liu is slated to engage in high-level discussions with members of the Kazakh Government and regional governors. Key focal points of these deliberations will center on the expansion of agricultural collaboration, with a specific emphasis on augmenting the export of Kazakhstani goods and fostering joint agro-industrial initiatives.

Furthermore, Smadiyarov revealed that a significant inaugural gathering of the Board of Governors of the member states of the Turkic Investment Fund is set to take place from May 17 to May 18 in Istanbul. This momentous event, graced by the presence of Nurlan Baibazarov, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan and Minister of National Economy, is poised to mark the official inauguration of the fund. The genesis of the Turkic Investment Fund traces back to Kazakhstan’s proposal at the V Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States on September 11, 2015. Envisioned as a vehicle for bolstering economic development across member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), the fund aims to stimulate inter-regional trade and underpin economic vitality across the region.
