Chinese FM Meets with Cuban Counterpart in Beijing

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with his Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, who is also the special envoy of Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, in Beijing on Thursday.

During the meeting, Wang Yi emphasized China’s readiness to collaborate with Cuba to implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state. Wang, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, highlighted the importance of transforming the high-level political mutual trust between China and Cuba into practical cooperation measures.

Wang Yi further underscored the need for maintaining close multilateral collaboration between the two nations, aiming to strengthen their bilateral relations and foster mutual development. This meeting marks a significant step in reinforcing the longstanding partnership between China and Cuba.
