Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi Appointed Vice Chairman of Arab Youth Centre

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Arab Youth Centre (AYC), has officially approved the appointment of Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, as the new Vice Chairman of the Arab Youth Centre. Dr. Al Neyadi succeeds Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Community Development.
His Highness commended Shamma Al Mazrouei for her dedicated efforts over the past five years in leading the centre’s team. Her leadership has been instrumental in developing the centre’s programmes and initiatives at a regional level, strengthening regional and international partnerships, and enhancing the centre’s reputation as a leading youth work institution in the Arab world. Her work has notably focused on capacity building, skills acquisition, and promoting the Arabic identity, language, and values of positive citizenship among youth.
Sheikh Theyab highlighted the important role Dr. Al Neyadi will play in building upon the achievements of the Arab Youth Centre. Dr. Al Neyadi, a distinguished young leader, represents the potential of Emirati and Arab youth. His experience will be pivotal in advancing the vision of the UAE’s wise leadership, which prioritizes human development, the transfer of best practices for youth empowerment, and increased youth contributions in developmental and humanitarian fields.
The Arab Youth Centre has announced an ambitious five-year strategy aimed at inspiring hope among young people by celebrating creativity in the Arab world, supporting youth research, and implementing various programmes focused on skill development. The strategy also emphasizes personal and professional growth through intensive training activities and specialized forums, raising youth awareness of their responsibilities, linking them to opportunities using data and studies, and engaging them in providing innovative solutions.
