Azerbaijan Addresses Disinformation Campaigns Targeting COP29 at Shusha Global Media Forum

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration, highlighted the challenges posed by a strong disinformation campaign regarding COP29 during his speech at the 2nd Shusha Global Media Forum, according to the Azerbaijani media.

Hajiyev emphasized that Azerbaijan has been a target of disinformation but assured that the country remains vigilant against such tactics. “We believe in our work and continue our struggle,” he stated, underscoring Azerbaijan’s commitment to combating climate change on a global scale. Hajiyev affirmed that Azerbaijan adheres to its agenda and has garnered fair support for its just position in this global effort.
