Oman Across Ages Museum Launches ‘Damek Wasel’ During Khareef Season
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: In line with the Khareef season, the Oman Across Ages Museum has launched the second edition of its ‘Damek Wasel’ campaign, aiming to position the museum as a key destination for visitors to the Dhofar Governorate.
The ‘Damek Wasel’ campaign kicked off on Monday, coinciding with the annual Khareef season, to promote the museum’s presence as a significant local and international tourist attraction during this vibrant period. The campaign is set to boost cultural and historical awareness among visitors, allowing them to explore the rich history of the Sultanate of Oman, its ancient eras, and the modern achievements it has witnessed, alongside the country’s abundant natural beauty and geographical diversity.
In an effort to engage visitors interactively, the museum utilizes the latest technologies in museum displays. The campaign will also see a widespread dissemination of publications across the museum’s social media platforms and other marketing channels, further enhancing visitors’ understanding and appreciation of Oman’s heritage.
Additionally, the campaign employs various applications and marketing strategies both within and outside the Sultanate, using tailored language and messages to effectively reach and engage the target audience.
The first edition of the ‘Damek Wasel’ campaign, launched in August last year, yielded remarkable results, with the museum attracting over 77,000 visitors in August 2023 alone.
The Oman Across Ages Museum remains committed to enriching the cultural landscape and providing an immersive educational experience for all visitors, ensuring the Sultanate’s history and achievements are celebrated and preserved for future generations.
