A meeting with Uzbek students was held in Kazan
Kazan, The Gulf Observer: “School 21” is an innovative educational project of Sberbank of Russia, which provides people over 18 years of age with the opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge in the field of information technology (IT) for free. There are a total of four IT schools in Russia, located in Moscow, Kazan, Novosibirsk and Surgut.
A meeting with Uzbek students studying at “21-school” was held at the General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Kazan.
More than 4,100 people study at these educational institutions and more than 2,1000 people do internships and work in the largest IT companies and start-ups operating on the territory of Russia. It is planned to open such schools in Yaroslavl, Veliky Novgorod, Vladivostok and Samara.
A delegation headed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov visited “School 21” on September 18 of this year during its visit to the Republic of Tatarstan
The leadership of “21-maktab” and participated in the meeting held at the General Consulate.
At the beginning of the meeting, Consul General Fariddin Nasriyev introduced the participants of the meeting to the activities of the consular institution, consular services provided (passports, certificates, driver’s licenses, etc.).
Also, about the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan in all areas, including the education sector, conditions created for IT specialists, digitalization of state activities, introduction of information technologies to state structures, establishment of responsible special positions in ministries and agencies of the republic information was provided.
In turn, the students confirmed the positive results of the reforms implemented under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, expressed gratitude to the government of our republic for the attention to the youth and for being invited to the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan.
