Algeria, Russia Explore Stronger Industrial Partnership and Joint Investment Opportunities

Algiers, The Gulf Observer: Algeria and Russia have reaffirmed their commitment to expanding bilateral industrial and economic cooperation during high-level talks held in Algiers between Algerian Industry Minister Yahia Bachir and a Russian delegation led by Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Moscow Government and Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations.

According to a statement from Algeria’s Ministry of Industry, the discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation through the development of joint industrial projects, increased investment, technology transfer, and enhanced economic collaboration.

The meeting, attended by Russia’s Ambassador to Algeria and senior officials from both sides, formed part of ongoing efforts to deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries and identify new opportunities for mutually beneficial industrial and commercial cooperation.

Both delegations reviewed prospects for launching high value-added industrial projects while encouraging greater participation by businesses and investors from both countries. They also emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise and fostering partnerships capable of supporting sustainable industrial development.

The talks reflect Algeria and Russia’s shared objective of broadening economic ties beyond traditional sectors and reinforcing long-term cooperation through investment-driven industrial initiatives.
