Azerbaijan, UAE Foreign Ministers Discuss Strategic Partnership and Regional Security

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, held a telephone conversation on Wednesday with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), to review bilateral ties and discuss pressing regional and global developments.

The two foreign ministers assessed the progress achieved under the framework of the Azerbaijan–UAE strategic partnership, highlighting the importance of strengthening collaboration in both bilateral and multilateral formats.

The conversation also addressed cooperation within international organizations, reaffirming the commitment of both countries to deepening engagement on global platforms and enhancing mutual support in international initiatives.

Bayramov and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed exchanged views on the current regional and international security landscape, with both sides underscoring the need for continued dialogue and coordination in addressing emerging challenges.

In addition, the ministers discussed a number of other matters of mutual interest, reaffirming their shared commitment to advancing comprehensive cooperation in areas of common concern.
