Baku, The Gulf Observer: The “Victory” motorcade of servicemen with disabilities related to the Patriotic War, provided by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, was organized.

Children of the martyrs of the Patriotic War also participated in the “Victory” motorcade in which 44 cars participated. They traveled in the same cars as war veterans.

First, the graves of national leader Heydar Aliyev and prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva were visited in the Alley of Honor.

Then a motorcade was held to the Alley of Second Martyrs, and the graves of Azerbaijani heroes who rose to the top of martyrdom were visited.

The motorcade ended in front of the Military Spoils Park. Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Vusal Nasirli, who participated in the event, said that two years have passed since the Patriotic War, in which the Azerbaijani Army won victory under the leadership of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.

In just 44 days, Azerbaijani land was liberated from the enemy. Azerbaijani people are celebrating the second anniversary of the liberation of country’s historical homes with great joy.

This is the second time that a motorcade is being organized with the participation of Azerbaijani heroes, who are participants in the battles for the territorial integrity of the Motherland, with cars presented to them by the ministry. This car procession, which has become a tradition, is dedicated to Azerbaijan’s great Victory. The “Victory” motorcade embodies the state’s concern for the children of the Motherland who showed bravery in the war.

It was reported that after the Patriotic War, a large-scale social support package for the families of martyrs and war participants is being implemented by the order of President Ilham Aliyev.

As a part of that social support package, 4,000 apartments and private houses were provided to families of martyrs and people with war-related disabilities, and in total, 13,000 apartments and private houses were provided in the last period. In 2022, 1,500 apartments and private houses are planned to be provided, of which 1,000 have already been provided.

At the same time, measures to provide vehicles for people with war-related disabilities continue successfully. In the post-war period, more than 300 cars, and more than 7,500 cars in the past period, were given to people with war-related disabilities.
