Azerbaijani Athletes Attend Departure Ceremony for Paris Summer Olympic Games

Baku, The Gulf Observer: A group of Azerbaijani athletes participated in a departure ceremony at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, marking their journey to the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France. The ceremony, reported by local media, was attended by young athletes, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, heads of federations, and media representatives.

Azerbaijan will be proudly represented by 48 athletes competing in 15 sports disciplines across 17 programs at the Summer Olympic Games. The prestigious event will take place from July 26 to August 11, bringing together top athletes from around the world.

Minister Farid Gayibov expressed his support and encouragement to the athletes, emphasizing the significance of their participation in the Olympics and the honor of representing Azerbaijan on the global stage.
