British Club "Piki Reels" Explores Garabagh and East Zangazur

Garabagh, The Gulf Observer: A 33-member delegation from the British club “Piki Reels,” led by Belgian citizen Yves Bouvier, is currently touring Azerbaijan’s Garabagh and East Zangazur regions, according to media reports. The group recently visited key locations, including Fuzuli, Khojavand, Shusha, and Aghdam, before proceeding to Kalbajar and Lachin to witness the ongoing reconstruction efforts.

This visit marks the 12th trip by an international travelers’ club to Garabagh and East Zangazur, with over 400 visitors from more than 50 countries participating in similar tours between 2020 and 2024. The “Piki Reels” visit highlights the growing trend of “black tourism” in the formerly occupied territories, drawing attention to the extensive restoration and rebuilding efforts that have revitalized the region.

Such initiatives play a pivotal role in promoting Garabagh and East Zangazur, underscoring Azerbaijan’s commitment to restoring these areas and preserving their historical and cultural significance.
