Center of Uzbek Culture Opens at Belarusian State Pedagogical University

Minsk, The Gulf Observer: The Center of Uzbek Culture has been inaugurated at the Belarusian State Pedagogical University (BSPU) named after Maxim Tank, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s 110th-anniversary celebrations.

The center, established through close collaboration with Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami, aims to foster deeper cultural and educational ties between Uzbekistan and Belarus.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, BSPU Rector Aliaksandr Zhuk highlighted the center’s potential to enhance humanitarian cooperation between the two nations. “The center’s opening is another opportunity to expand humanitarian cooperation between the two countries. We plan to hold various cultural and educational events at the center,” he said.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Belarus Rakhmatulla Nazarov emphasized the growing bilateral relations and the shared commitment to strengthening educational partnerships. “We need to train qualified personnel, good specialists, including in education,” he remarked. “A lot has already been done to promote Uzbek culture in Belarus. In addition, the two countries plan to develop cooperation in various fields and discuss industrial cooperation.”

The center is expected to serve as a hub for cultural exchange and collaboration, further solidifying the partnership between Uzbekistan and Belarus in education and other sectors.
