Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Chinese Premier Li Qiang graced the opening ceremony of the China Development Forum 2024 on Sunday in Beijing, delivering a keynote speech that underscored the nation’s steadfast commitment to continuous development and economic resilience.

Scheduled for March 24 and March 25, the China Development Forum 2024 revolves around the theme “The Continuous Development of China.” Premier Li emphasized that this theme resonates with the collective aspirations of all sectors, reflecting their anticipation for sustained, stable, and high-quality growth of the Chinese economy.

Highlighting China’s achievements in economic and social development throughout 2023, Premier Li reaffirmed the country’s robust economic fundamentals, underscored by its resilience, potential, and vitality. He stressed that despite global challenges, China remains unwavering in its pursuit of long-term, sound economic growth.

Premier Li emphasized the Chinese government’s unwavering commitment to fostering a conducive environment for enterprise development, emphasizing the importance of market respect and service optimization. He noted that China has intensified efforts to enhance services for enterprises, establishing regular communication channels to address their needs effectively.

Committing to concrete actions to bolster high-quality development, Premier Li outlined key initiatives, including macro-policy adjustments, domestic demand expansion, people-centered urbanization, and advancements in industrial innovation through scientific and technological breakthroughs. He underscored China’s dedication to green transformation and risk prevention, aiming to address both immediate challenges and underlying issues.
