H.E. Alisher Tukhtaev, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Pakistan meets with Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: On 21st October 2024, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF), visited the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, and had a meeting with His Excellency Alisher Tukhtaev, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Pakistan.

During the meeting, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram extended a warm and gracious welcome to the esteemed Uzbek Ambassador, H.E. Alisher Tukhtaev, as he commenced his diplomatic journey in Pakistan. Prior to this appointment, H.E. Tukhtaev served as an advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and also has been on many other important appointments.

The discussions also encompassed the significance of bolstering bilateral research, cultural, and trade cooperation to strengthen the ties between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Pakistan. Both recognized the pivotal role played by such collaborations in fortifying the relationship between the two countries.
Furthermore, the Ambassador expressed acknowledgment and commendation for the noteworthy contribution of Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram in enhancing research and fostering people-to-people connectivity between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
