H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Visits 16th Abu Dhabi Art Exhibition
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, visited the 16th edition of Abu Dhabi Art, currently underway at Manarat Al Saadiyat. The exhibition, organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), runs until November 24, 2024.
During his visit, H.H. Sheikh Khaled emphasized the importance of Abu Dhabi Art in enriching the cultural and artistic landscape of the emirate. He praised its role in positioning Abu Dhabi as a global hub for artistic and cultural dialogue, fostering connections among artists worldwide. H.H. Sheikh Khaled lauded the event’s commitment to nurturing artistic talent by offering a premier platform to exhibit diverse creative works.
Highlights of Abu Dhabi Art 2024
This year’s exhibition showcases contributions from 102 galleries, displaying over 1,500 artworks from 31 countries. The program features a dynamic mix of panel discussions, workshops, art performances, and installations, engaging global art and culture leaders to facilitate the exchange of ideas and explore emerging trends in the art world.
H.H. Sheikh Khaled was joined by prominent dignitaries, including:
- Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.
- Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
- Rita Aoun, Executive Director of Culture at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.
- Dyala Nusseibeh, Director of Abu Dhabi Art Fair.
