Minsk, The Gulf Observer: The Islamic Republic of Iran and Belarus on Wednesday signed 12 cooperation agreements along with a joint statement during President Masoud Pezeshkian’s official visit to Minsk.

The signing ceremony was held in the presence of both countries’ presidents and senior officials, underscoring the commitment of Tehran and Minsk to strengthen bilateral relations across multiple sectors.

The agreements cover diverse areas, including political and international law, tourism and cultural exchange, as well as arts and media collaboration. In addition, new frameworks for cooperation were established in the fields of health and pharmaceuticals, industrial development, environmental protection, investment, and special economic zones.

Officials from both nations emphasized that the accords will not only deepen political and economic ties but also enhance cultural and people-to-people exchanges, contributing to the long-term strategic partnership between Iran and Belarus.
