Iran, Brazil Foreign Ministers Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and International Developments

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation with his Brazilian counterpart Mauro Vieira, during which the two sides discussed bilateral relations and key international developments.

In their exchange, the foreign ministers reviewed the current state of Iran–Brazil relations and underscored the importance of expanding cooperation across all areas of mutual interest. Both officials also highlighted the need to strengthen collaboration within international organizations, reaffirming their commitment to constructive multilateral engagement.

Addressing recent developments within the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Araghchi urged all member states of the IAEA Board of Governors to oppose what he described as an illegal action taken by three European countries, calling for fairness and adherence to international norms.

The two ministers further emphasized the value of continued diplomatic coordination and regular consultations, discussing the path forward for enhancing future interactions between the two nations.

The conversation reflected the shared interest of Iran and Brazil in reinforcing bilateral ties and deepening cooperation on regional and global issues.
