Iranian, Saudi Foreign Ministers Discuss Bilateral and Regional Issues in Jeddah

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi met with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, on Saturday in Jeddah to discuss key bilateral and regional developments, marking a significant step forward in the ongoing diplomatic engagement between Tehran and Riyadh.
During the high-level meeting, the two top diplomats exchanged views on important political and security matters, emphasizing the need for constructive cooperation in addressing regional and international challenges. Both sides expressed a commitment to continued dialogue and the strengthening of diplomatic channels between their respective countries.
As part of his official visit, Minister Araqchi signed the memorial book at the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, underscoring the importance of the occasion.
Earlier in the day, Araqchi departed for Jeddah at the head of a diplomatic delegation, aimed at engaging in comprehensive talks with senior Saudi officials.
Following his engagements in Jeddah, the Iranian foreign minister is scheduled to travel to Doha to participate in the Iran-Arab World Dialogue Conference, where regional integration and dialogue are expected to be key themes.
The visit reflects the growing momentum in Iran-Saudi Arabia relations following their recent rapprochement and the broader push toward regional diplomacy.
