Turkish Foreign Minister Participates in “Coalition of the Willing” Meeting on Ukraine

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan participated in an online “coalition of the willing” meeting on Saturday, representing President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in discussions focused on the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
According to sources from the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Minister Fidan reaffirmed Türkiye’s strong commitment to Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty during his address to the meeting.
Underscoring Ankara’s consistent diplomatic stance, Fidan reiterated Türkiye’s support for the establishment of an unconditional ceasefire in the conflict, now entering its fourth year. He emphasized that Türkiye continues to advocate for a peaceful resolution and supports all efforts aimed at securing a sustainable truce.
In addition, Minister Fidan conveyed Türkiye’s readiness to contribute actively to international efforts by assuming responsibility in monitoring a ceasefire should one be reached. He noted that Ankara remains prepared to play a constructive role in facilitating and overseeing a potential cessation of hostilities.
The “coalition of the willing” meeting brought together representatives from several countries aligned in support of Ukraine, focusing on strategies to de-escalate the situation and promote long-term stability in the region.
