Hanoi, The Gulf Observer: State President Lương Cường on Friday offered incense in commemoration of President Hồ Chí Minh at House 67, located within the Special National Relic Site – the Hồ Chí Minh Memorial Site at the Presidential Palace, marking the 96th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Việt Nam (CPV) and the Tết (Lunar New Year) 2026.

During the solemn ceremony, President Cường expressed profound gratitude for the immense contributions of President Hồ Chí Minh, the revered leader of the Vietnamese nation, who devoted and sacrificed his entire life for the country’s independence, freedom, and the well-being of its people.

The Hồ Chí Minh Memorial Site at the Presidential Palace, recognized as a Special National Relic Site, bears the enduring imprint of the late leader’s simple and people-oriented lifestyle. Every corner of the site reflects his lasting presence and continues to inspire generations with his ideals, morality, and unwavering dedication to national service.

President Cường emphasized that although more than half a century has passed since President Hồ Chí Minh’s death, his legacy remains vividly preserved at the relic site. The documents, artifacts, and memorabilia maintained there serve as authentic and compelling testimony to his life, revolutionary career, ideology, ethics, and modest way of living.

Following the incense offering, the President visited Hồ Chí Minh’s fish pond within the memorial complex. He reflected on the late leader’s simple daily life by the garden and pond, noting that memories of his humility, compassion, and moral integrity continue to resonate deeply across the nation.

Extending Lunar New Year greetings to the staff of the relic site, President Cường urged them to uphold the site’s significant role in preserving the invaluable documents and artifacts associated with President Hồ Chí Minh. He stressed that these treasures represent a priceless spiritual heritage for both present and future generations.

The State leader also called for enhanced efforts to educate the public and further promote awareness of the site’s historical and cultural importance. He expressed confidence that the management unit would continue to effectively preserve, safeguard, and promote the invaluable legacy of President Hồ Chí Minh to the Vietnamese people and international visitors alike.
