Malaysia High Commissioner Extends Eid-ul-Fitr 2026 Message Emphasizing Unity, Gratitude and Harmony

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, has extended a heartfelt Eid-ul-Fitr 2026 message, highlighting the values of unity, gratitude, and harmony among the staff of the High Commission of Malaysia in Islamabad and beyond.
In his message to both Home-Based and Locally Recruited Staff, the High Commissioner conveyed warm Eid greetings and appreciated their dedication and contributions throughout the year. He noted that Eid-ul-Fitr is not only a joyous celebration but also a significant occasion to reflect on the spiritual lessons of Ramadan, including patience, humility, and compassion.
Ambassador Mazlan underscored the importance of gratitude, urging staff to value both personal and professional blessings. He encouraged them to carry forward the teachings of Ramadan—kindness, discipline, and empathy—into their daily lives and professional responsibilities.
Emphasizing workplace harmony, he highlighted that unity and mutual respect are essential for strengthening the effectiveness of the mission. He reminded staff that, as representatives of Malaysia abroad, they play a vital role in projecting the country’s image as a peaceful, inclusive, and respectful nation.
Referring to global challenges, the High Commissioner stressed the enduring importance of peace, noting that it remains a deeply cherished value for Malaysians. He encouraged all members of the mission to uphold these principles and contribute positively to both their workplace and the wider community.
As part of the Eid celebrations, H.E. Ambassador Mazlan also distributed Eid food packages to locally recruited staff, reflecting the spirit of generosity and care associated with the festive occasion.
Extending his message beyond the High Commission, the High Commissioner conveyed warm Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the Government and people of Pakistan, expressing appreciation for the strong bilateral relations and hospitality extended to Malaysia. He voiced hope for continued friendship, peace, and prosperity between the two nations.
Concluding his message, he shared the traditional Malaysian greeting, “Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin,” symbolizing festive goodwill and a sincere request for forgiveness in the spirit of reconciliation and renewal.
