Muslim World League considers it an obligation to assist the flood affected people : Secretary General Muslim World League

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Muslim World League has initiated a multi-dimensional relief project for the people affected from recent floods. The inauguration ceremony for this project was held at Muslim World League’s Islamabad Office whereby, in the first phase, 35 trucks of relief goods were dispatched to the flood affected areas of Sindh and KPK. The ceremony was presided by the Secretary General of Muslim World League Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Bin Abdul Karim Al Issa, who is visiting Pakistan on special invitation of the government. Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Bin Saeed Al Maliki was also present in the ceremony.

On this occasion, the Director General of Muslim World League for Pakistan, Saad Bin Masoud Al Harthi, briefly introduced the project and told that the relief package consists of food items, tents, hygiene kits and daily use utensils for 10,000 families.
While addressing the ceremony, the Secretary General of Muslim World League, Seikh Dr. Muhammad Bin Abdul Karim Al Issa said that Muslim World League considers it a religious and human obligation to help and support the victims of recent unprecedented floods in Pakistan and told that today’s ceremony is only the start of a comprehensive relief project which shall continue till the complete rehabilitation of the affected people. He said that helping the Muslim Brethren in this hour of need is a manifestation of mutual love and brotherhood.
Dr. Issa declared help of suffering humanity the top most priority of Muslim World League and reiterated the firm resolve to continue the humanitarian activities which are a source of blessings and pride for him.
